Description: National Event in Delhi with Domestic Workers (around 1000 women from 7 states). As part of this event, signatures (from a national signature campaign) will also be submitted to the President of India, Ms Pratibha Patil, demanding a National Legislation that protects the rights of domestic workers (of which there is already a draft).
On the way home, the women participants will stop in various places to discuss the proposed National Legislation with domestic workers, and the rights it gives them.
