Description: One of the WMW member organizations, the All Nepal Women’s Association, is organising a 3-day Women’s Festival in Pradarshani Marga (Khatmandu). There will be more than 75 stalls.

Expositions around 7 themes: Women's health and reproductive rights, food festival, Women's skills exhibition, Women's sports, Speech skill competition amongst students; Dohori-Geet (Progressive Folk – Song Competition) and Agricultural product exhibition.

Around 100,000 people are expected to visit.

8th March

Venue: Kathmandu

Description: trade unionists are organising a rally in Kathmandu with women workers. The WMW will participate in solidarity and will distribute pamphlets and raise awareness of WMW issues in the rally, as well as the women’s festival and the Pourakhi programme (see below).

Celebration of 100 years of the declaration of International Women’s Day: various activities at the district and local levels.

Another WMW member organization, Pourakhi (Returnees Migrant Women Workers Organisation), is also going to organise a rally with other civil organization's group
