- 1st Day Press conference in Faisalabad Press club
-To highlight the programme of Global Action from 8th March to 18th March and also inform the media about formation of NCB in Pakistan.
- Presentation of action area of the Economic Autonomy of women and demand to the concern authorities to give legal Recognition of Informal Sector and Registration of HBWs( Home Based Workers)
March from Faislabad to Toba tek singh by foot and buss by 200 women.
- 2nd Day. Seminar
Topic: “ End Violence against Women & Economic Exploitation under Customary Practices Provide Equal Job Opportunities to Women.”
Cultural programme with the help of local women group. 150 women
March from Tobarek singh to Gojera by buss. Buss will be decorated by posters and Banners and flag..
In Gojer we will stay for two days
- 3rd day. Group Discussion on “End Religious Extremism and Demilitarization”
The grass roots organization will participate. Local women will share histories and sufferings due to religious extremism and militarization.
Local songs and dance. 200 women
- 4th Day, Seminar on “Effective Implementation of Laws regarding Violence against Women”.
200 women will participate, after the seminar, women will bring their hand made items for exhibition. They will present a cultural programme.
- 5th day. At Gujranwala.
Local women organizations will perform a theater on women issues. This will be a big cultural event.
March with 200 women From Gujranwala by buss to Shiekhupora, there we will march around of the area with banners poster and drums and musical instruments.Every women will hold flowers to show happyness.
- 6th Day. At Kasur.
Full day with peasant women to discuss their daily routine work, and their issues.
This day we will spend in agriculture fields with women. After we will sing songs and dance with them.
- 7th Day at Kasur
We arrange a seminar at Press club on the topic” Violence against Women”. 200 women will participate in city area.
March to Lahore with drums and musical instruments on the bus and by foot. In Lahore we will spend 3 days to arrange a seminar and group discussion on different women issues and the last day we will discuss 4 action areas of WMW with big organizations and our friends.
Organizations that will accompany with us during this Global action are:Women Worker Help line, Aurat Foundation, Home Based workers, Sahil, Shirkatgah,War, South Asia Partnership. Human Rights Commission, Aurat worker Union, Catholic Women organization, AGHS, CSOs, and Action Aid.
