Belgium: 5,000 people participated in the demonstration held on the 6th March
At the end, their set of demands was handed to political authorities.
The country carried out this action in the framework of the WMW 3rd International Action during the afternoon of Saturday, the 6th March. According to information from Leen Vandamme, from the Belgium WMW National Coordinating Body, 5,000 people from different women’s collectives, associations, trade unions, political parties and other movements participated in this action. The demonstration included four key moments, each one representing the demands connected to the 4 WMW Area Actions. At the end, their set of demands was handed to political authorities.
