Chile: Call for Solidarity

It has been more than 60 hours since the tragedy that has confronted our country, nature has shown its force, especially in the Metropolitan, del Maule, Bío-Bío and The Rivers regions. Material damage has been heavy, the families that have suffered the effects of the tidal wave have been left with nothing, more than a thousand have died and hundreds are missing.

Chaos was the dominant factor in the first hours after the earthquake and since yesterday [Monday] governmental institutions are implementing measures to alleviate the misfortune that affects the Chilean families.

As ANAMURI, we will participate in a Solidarity Campaign organised by the Christian Humanism Academy and other NGOs that will join a Caravan that will travel throughout the coast of the Ñuble zone, in order to help families that are still trapped in the hills without any water or basic food supplies.
